Cancellation and refund policy
Last updated: [date]
This policy applies to the services offered by Copains, including website creation, additional options, monthly subscriptions and one-time fees.
1. Digital Services
Website creation, configuration, customization, integration, design, support, and online launch services are personalized digital services.
As these services require production time and are tailored to the client's project, they are usually non-refundable once the work begins.
2. Cancellation before the start of the project
If you wish to cancel your order before the work has begun, contact us as soon as possible at:
hello@simon-gagnon.com
If no work has been started and no non-recoverable costs have been incurred, a full or partial refund may be granted.
3. Cancellation after the start of the project
Once the work has begun, the fees paid may be retained in whole or in part to cover the time already done for planning, communication, configuration, design, development, purchase of third-party services, or management.
Copains reserves the right to evaluate each request on a case-by-case basis.
4. Monthly Fees
Monthly plans may include ongoing services like hosting, maintenance, support, updates, or certain site-related tools.
Cancellation of a monthly plan must be requested in writing to:
hello@simon-gagnon.com
Unless otherwise specified, monthly fees already billed are non-refundable.
5. One-time fees and add-ons
Some one-time fees, such as bilingual setup, installation of specific options, purchase of a domain name, configuration of an external tool, or special customization, may be non-refundable once the work has begun or the service has been booked.
6. Third-Party Domain Names and Services
Domain names, licenses, extensions, external accounts, payment fees, hosting services, or other third-party services may be subject to the refund policies of their respective providers.
In many cases, these fees are non-refundable once ordered or activated.
7. Requests for correction
If an error is caused by Buddies in the configuration or delivery of the site, we will make reasonable efforts to correct it.
Requests for correction must be sent within a reasonable period of time after delivery or publication of the site.
Changes of idea, new applications, additions to content, changes in structure or modifications outside the original mandate may result in additional costs.
8. Custom Orders
Custom projects, special requests, custom sites, special integrations or configurations tailored to a specific need are non-refundable once production has begun.
